BENTON - Elizabeth Ann "Liz" Richards, 71, died Nov. 1, 2007, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Born May 27, 1936, in DeValls Bluff, Ark., daughter of Harold Haynes and Vina Lomax Haynes, she worked for Sells Rest Home in Matthews as an administrative assistant for 25 years and was a member of Sikeston Chapter 137 Order of Eastern Star.
She was married for 49 years to her husband, Larry L. Richards. They were married on Sept. 26, 1958, and he survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, Larry Bryan Richards of Tamarac, Fla.; one daughter, Cindy Richards of Benton; Paul Massa of Tamarac and Donna Cole of Benton; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Margaret and Bud Dock of Sikeston and Dorothy Shell of Benton; two brothers and sisters-in-law, R.L. and Jeno Richards and Barbara and Jay Box of Sikeston; as well as many other close relatives and bingo friends.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Monday, with Eastern Star rites at 7:30 p.m. at Blanchard Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. Services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, with Kathy Hobbs officiating.
Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
Pallbearers will be: Rodney Dock, Randy Box, David Richards, Michael Richards, Matthew Burke and Gerald Settles.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Bud Dock, R.L. Richards and Jay Box.
