Michael Burton

MORLEY -- Michael Burton, 40, died Aug. 11, 2008, at his home.

Born Nov. 23, 1967, in Houston, Texas, to Peggy Burton Witthoft of Morley and the late James Burton, he was employed in the parts department at Viking Cives Midwest in Morley.

Survivors in addition to his mother include: one son, James Michael Burton of Morehouse; one brother, Jimmy Burton of Sikeston; and one sister, Lora McCoy of Morley.

Visitation will be held from noon until time of services at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston. Michael Blissett, pastor of Divine Temple at Morley, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Morgan Memories Cemetery in Advance.

Pallbearers will be: Timmy Comstock, David Menz, Kenny Wallace, Jason Crider, Billy Reynolds and Melvin Dykes.
