VANDUSER -- Rita Adams, 54, died Sept. 19, 2008, at her home.
Born Oct. 31, 1954, in Sikeston, she was the daughter of the late Jerome and Inez Johnson.
On June 5, 1992, at Moberly, she married Calvin Adams who survives of the home.
Other survivors include two sons, Michael Long of Sikeston and Robert Long, who is serving in the U.S. Navy in Gulf Port, Miss.; one daughter, Robin Long of Amarillo, Texas, and Calvina Cutrell of Malden; one sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Dalton Gean of Essex; two sisters-in-law, Pat Johnson of Sikeston and May Eberley of Bell City; and 11 grandchildren.
One brother, Junior Johnson, preceded her in death.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until time of services Monday at Ponder Funeral Home. The Rev. Harry Mills will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Lightener Cemetery at Scott City.
