Jim Lynn

CHAFFEE -- James Audrey "Jim" Lynn, 64, died at 12:56 p.m. Oct. 16, 2008, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born Sept. 27, 1944, in Randles, to Iva Jewell Whorton Lynn of Chaffee and the late Audrey James Lynn, he was a self-employed trucker whose last job was transporting railroad men to and from work.

On Nov. 8, 1963, he married Marilyn Kaye Lankford. They were married for 34 years.

Survivors include: two daughters, Paula Chapman of Fruitland and Penny Lynn of Paducah, Ky.; two brothers, Forrest "Red" Lynn and Steve Lynn of Chaffee; two sisters, Bonnie Brown of Morehouse and Kay Yant of Sikeston; and three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A private service will be held at a later date.

The Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee is in charge of arrangements.
