LAUGHLIN, Nev. -- Phillip Stanley Rodgers, 67, formerly of New Madrid, Mo., died Sept. 23, 2008, at his home.
Born March 1, 1941, in New Madrid, he was the son of the late Thurman Leroy and Sue Beatrice Haynes-Rodgers.
He married Nancy Bush who preceded him in death on April 10, 2008.
He was also preceded in death by three brothers, John Wiley Rodgers, Charles Leroy Rodgers and Kenneth Paxton Rodgers; and two sisters, Lena Ellen Klein and Mary Etta Watkins.
Survivors include: two daughters, Paula Hale and Carma Smith; one sister, Elsie Reva Rodgers-Walters of Poplar Bluff; one brother, Robert Eugene Rodgers of Poplar Bluff; and five grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in the Evergreen Cemetery in New Madrid. The Rev. Larry Gammons will officiate.
