CHAFFEE -- Saturday afternoon's action is now set in stone in the Chaffee Lady Devils Invitational as semifinal action wrapped up on Thursday evening. Advancing to the championship game were the Delta Lady Bobcats who defeated the Kelly Lady Hawks 54-22.

For the Lady Hawks, it was an offensive struggle from the opening tip as the Lady Bobcats defense was unbearable nearly each trip down the floor. Delta put up 15 points in the first while Kelly managed just five points.

The second quarter was equally as troubling for the Lady Hawks as the Lady Bobcats cashed in 14 more points while holding Kelly to six. The lead at half stood at 29-11 in favor of the No. 2 seeded Delta squad.
