Six 'design-build' bridges are slated for Mississippi County

CHARLESTON -- Contractors for the Missouri Department of Transportation are finishing up renovations to one bridge in Mississippi County and are gearing up for more bridge work.

Andy Meyer, regional field engineer for MoDOT, provided Mississippi County commissioners with an update on deck work on a bridge on State Highway UU over Interstate 57 and information about upcoming projects during the County Commission meeting Thursday.
