SIKESTON -- After two decades at the helm, Missouri Delta Medical Center's chief executive officer will pass his responsibilities on to the next generation of leadership.

Charles Ancell, president of MDMC, announced this week that he will retire at the end of this year while Jason Schrumpf, formerly the vice president of professional services, was promoted to senior vice president.
