SIKESTON -- Although the Kenny Rogers Children's Center has already gotten a major facelift with renovations over the past few months, more changes are on the horizon. And on Thursday, there was a groundbreaking ceremony to commemorate the beginning of a 7,000 square-foot expansion...

Kenny Rogers Children's Center Executive Director Michelle Fayette and members of the Board of Directors break ground for the approximately 7,000 square-foot expansion during a ceremony held Thursday. Also during the ceremony, visitors were invited to tour the existing facility to see recent renovations.

SIKESTON -- Although the Kenny Rogers Children's Center has already gotten a major facelift with renovations over the past few months, more changes are on the horizon.

And on Thursday, there was a groundbreaking ceremony to commemorate the beginning of a 7,000 square-foot expansion.

"We asked you to lend a hand and you did," said Michelle Fayette, executive director of the Center. "We can't say thank you enough."
