NEW MADRID -- The search continues today for an escaped convict.
New Madrid County Sheriff Terry Stevens said his officers are continuing to comb the area in search of Donnie Eugene Tubbs. Tubbs escaped Tuesday while being transported from St. Francois County in Missouri to authorities in Conway County, Ark.
