SIKESTON - Two men may face federal drug trafficking charges after a large quantity of crack cocaine was discovered in their vehicle.

Sikeston's Narcotics Division received information that two subjects were a vehicle with a large amount of drugs. From descriptions received, officers located the suspect vehicle a short time later, stopping it near West North and Frisco streets.

"As the Officers approached the car they saw what appeared to be crack cocaine packaged in plastic baggies in the rear passenger area, near one of the occupants," said Sgt. Jim McMillen in a news release. Officers found 42.5 grams of crack cocaine and 7.7 grams of marijuana, packaged to sell, he said.
