SIKESTON -- The public is invited to attend the installation ceremony for Bonnie Dyer to the Honors Board at 4 p.m. Wednesday.

For 40 years, Dyer served in virtually every volunteer capacity for the Cotton Boll Council Girl Scouts including troop leader, daycamp director, new leader recruiter and trainer and Council fund raiser.

Dyer will be the 39th individual and second woman installed on the Honors Board.

The Honors Board is located near the Ingram Road entrance to the Recreations Complex. Members of the Sikeston Park Board would like to encourage friends, relatives and fellow youth program volunteers to join them in recognizing Dyer for her dedication and four decades of service to local Girl Scouts.

In the event of rain, the ceremony will be held in the Clinton Building.
