Schools score well on review

19 area school districts attain full accreditation

SIKESTON -- School performance reports are in, and all of the local public schools received a passing grade.

The final 2011 Annual Performance Reports released last week by the state Department of Elementary and Secondary Education contain five years of statistics for public school districts, including data from the past school year.

The APR serves as the report card to the public on how well school districts and charter schools are meeting state standards for academic performance.
