PORTAGEVILLE -- Glenn L. Lenand, 91, died May 6, 2012, at the Golden Living Center in New Madrid.
Born Aug. 16, 1920, in Delta, to the late William and Clara Mae Oliver Lenand, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army, a member of St. Eustachius Church and Knights of Columbus and a VFW post minister.
On April 19, 1947, in Chaffee, he married Virginia Menz who preceded him in death on July 10, 2007.
Also preceding him in death were a daughter, Glenna Faye Lenand, one son, William Henry Lenan, two brothers, James Lenand and Johnnie Lenand, and a sister, Ethel Strange Masion.
Survivors include: two sons and a daughter-in-law, Martin W. and Sherry Lenand and Glenn Lenand Jr. of Portageville; three grandchildren, Christopher Lenand, Misty Kaufman and Brandy Lovins; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled at 5 p.m., with parish prayers at 6 p.m., today at the DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville. Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Allan Saunders officiating.
Burial with full military rites will follow in the Portageville Cemetery.
