SIKESTON -- Lindell Lacy Taber, 74, died June 26, 2012, at the Hunter Acres Caring Center in Sikeston.
Born Sept. 11, 1937, in Matthews, to the late Lacy B. and Eva M. Lancaster Taber, he was employed by the Laborers Union as a construction worker and was a member of the Sikeston Eagles Aerie 3319.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Survivors include: three brothers, Winfred G. Taber of Suttons Bay, Mich., Merlin W. Taber of Jackson and Melvin D. Taber of Sikeston; five sisters, Ruth Etta Burch, Shirley Coppage and Judith Northcutt of Sikeston, Marlene Hartlein of Matthews and Deanna Piel of Springfield.
Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel.
Graveside services will follow at 2:15 p.m. at the Matthews Cemetery. The Rev. Kelley Grubbs, pastor of Murray Lane Baptist Church, will officiate.
