CAPE GIRARDEAU - A convicted felon found with ammunition and weapons could soon be in prison.
Steven J. Webb, 29, pled guilty to one felony count of being a previously convicted felon in possession of firearms and ammunition. He appeared Tuesday before United States District Judge Stephen N. Limbaugh Jr.
On Aug. 24, 2011, law enforcement officers arrested Webb on a warrant at the residence of an acquaintance in New Madrid County. Officers found three loaded rifle magazines in his pants pockets and a bag containing two rifles and four-30 round magazines that were fully loaded with ammunition.
