Josephine Lee
DEXTER -- Josephine Lee, 78, died Sept. 2, 2012, at the Golden Living Center in Dexter.
Born April 16, 1934, in Dudley, to the late Benjamin and Clara Chasteen Hill, she and her husband lived near the Marine base at Camp Pendleton in Oceanside, Calif., and then in St. Louis for 36 years before moving to Dexter after retirement. She was a member of the Rockhill Baptist Church and later attended Sadler Chapel United Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by: one daughter and son-in-law, Mickey and C.E. Tuley of Dexter; one sister, Bessie Bridges of Puxico; and one granddaughter, Jennifer Rowland of St. Louis.
She was preceded in death by one brother, William Hill, and one granddaughter, JoAnna Lee Tuley.
Services were conducted today at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter with Sue Welborn and Dave Fowler, pastors, officiating.
Burial followed in the Sadler Chapel Cemetery.
