Debra Owens

SIKESTON -- Debra Kay Owens, 56, formerly of Risco, died Sept. 1, 2012, at her home.

Born Aug. 18, 1956, in Sikeston, to Lawrence E. Owens of Risco and the late Martha Nell "Marty" Moore Carter, she worked at Lowe's and was of the Baptist belief.

In addition to her father, survivors include: her stepmother, Sharon Owens of Risco; one brother, Lawrence Junior Owens of Hereford, Ariz.; one half brother, Chris Owens of Advance; one half sister, Melinda Bennett of Kansas City, Kan.; three stepsisters, Karrie Lancaster of Malden and Kam Rodgers and Karla Evans of Risco; and a special friend, Tim Sisk of Sikeston.

Visitation is scheduled for 6 p.m. today at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday with the Revs. Lewis Scott and Mark Powell officiating.

Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden.
