Dickie Joe Linley

EAST PRAIRIE - Dickie Joe Linley, 66, died at 7:18 p.m. Sept. 3, 2012, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center.

Born March 21, 1946, in the Barnes Ridge community near East Prairie to the late Dick and Maudie Lee Jackson Linley, he lived in Mississippi County most of his life and was of the Pentecostal faith.

Survivors include: his wife, Dorothy Smith Linley of East Prairie; one son, James "Jay" Linley of East Prairie; one daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Dale Seibold of Lansing, Mich.; five brothers, Vick Linley, Harry Lee Linley, Harold Gene Linley, Kevin Linley of East Prairie and Willis Linley of Lansing; four sisters, Linda Riley of Lansing, Carolyn Soto and Patricia Ann Gammons of East Prairie and Anita Faye Willis of Anniston; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Besides his parents, two sisters, Sally Linley Kirby and Mildred Ritch, preceded him in death.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Dogwood Cemetery with Raymond Linley officiating.
