David McCarter Jr.

HAYTI -- David Lynn McCarter Jr., 20, died Sept. 1, 2012, at Hayti.

Born July 15, 1992, in Hayti, to David Lynn and Tonya Brown McCarter Sr. of Hayti, he was a 2010 graduate of Delta C-7 High School.

In addition to his parents, survivors include: two brothers, Josh McCarter and Austin McCarter of Hayti; grandmother, Carolyn Tinsley of Hayti; stepgrandfather, Dennis Tinsley of Hayti; grandfather, Keith Mashburn of Lawrence, Tenn.; and stepgrandmother, Kim Mashburn of Lawrence.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Dustin Hinklin; and grandparents, Bonnie and Randal McCarter.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. Friday at DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville with the Rev. Jeffery Thomas officiating.

Burial will follow in the Portageville Cemetery.
