Larry Malone
DEXTER -- Larry Elden Malone, 67, Sept. 7, 2012, at his home.
Born Jan. 14, 1945, in Dewitt, Ark., son of the late Lester Henry and Edna Mae Putney Malone, he lived most of his life in Dexter where he had worked as an auto mechanic at the Bud Shell Ford car dealership. He was a member of the General Assembly Church of First Born in Oxley.
On Oct. 23, 1964, in Tulare, Calif., he married MaryAnn Ollie Corterornia who survives of Dexter.
Surviving in addition to his wife are: three sons, Joseph Malone of Bloomfield and James Malone and John Malone of Dexter; one daughter, Ruth Strickland of Bloomfield; two brothers, Charles Malone of Fuquay-Varina, N.C., and Tom Malone of Bloomfield; one sister, Shirley Weaver of Bloomfield; and 17 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Monday at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Archie Godwin of Fairdealing and Dewayne Sloate of Naylor officiating.
Burial will follow at the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter.
