Sikeston netters pick up win over Charleston
CHARLESTON -- The Sikeston Lady Bulldogs picked up a much needed win on Tuesday when they shut out the Charleston Lady Bluejays, 9-0.
"Everyone on the team played very well today," Sikeston head coach Russ Dial said.
Of the Lady Bulldogs' nine matches, six were shutout wins with Kelsey Dial, Geena Hooper and Ali Price all blanking their competition.
On the junior varsity side, Sikeston defeated the Lady Bluejays 5-0.
The Lady Bulldogs travel to Cape Girardeau on Thursday when they play the Cape Central Lady Tigers at 4 p.m.
