SIKESTON -- Ronald C. Polley, 67, died Dec. 13, 2012, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born Oct. 25, 1945, in Poplar Bluff, to the late R.L. and Ida May Abbott Polley, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He had worked as a machine operator for Essex Wire and was of the Baptist belief.

He is survived by: two sons, Sonny Lee Polley of Bell City and Craig Steven Polley of Okinawa, Japan; one daughter, Tammy Leann Bailey of Bell City; one brother, Gary Polley of Sikeston; and 10 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Ponder Funeral Home. The Rev. Ronnie Ledbetter, a retired Baptist minister, will officiate.

Burial with full military honors will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery at Sikeston.
