Sandra Lawrence

DEXTER - Sandra J. Lawrence, 77, died Dec. 30, 2012, at the Gideon Care Center in Gideon.

Born Oct. 21, 1935, in Poplar Bluff, to the late Arnold and Mary Turley Cowsert, she was a homemaker and a member of the United Methodist Church.

On June 14, 1954, in the state of Mississippi, she married Yewell Gene Lawrence, who survives at the home.

Besides her husband, survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Bud and June Lawrence of Dexter; two daughters, Karen E. Lawrence of Lake Ozark and Kelly A. Lawrence of Fort Myers, Fla.; one sister, Terry Delene Adams of Bernie; two grandchildren; one stepgrandchild; and by two great-stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother, James A. Cowsert.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. Jim Adams will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Bloomfield Cemetery at Bloomfield.
