CHARLESTON -- Sullivan Cassell, 95, died Jan. 1, 2013, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born Aug. 26, 1919, in Pinhook, to the late Sullivan Cassell Sr. and Georgia Montjoy Cassell, he was a lifelong resident of Missouri, a retired mechanic and of the Baptist belief.
He is survived by: five daughters, Georgia Riggens, Beverly Straughter, Liz Williams, Ruby Scott and Lillie Lawrence of Charleston, 18 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Jonice "Binky" Henderson of Charleston.
Visitation is from 3 p.m. until time of services at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Williams Funeral Home in Charleston.
