NEW MADRID -- Georgia Mae McKinney, 62, died Jan. 13, 2013, at her home. Born Sept. 14, 1933, at Reyno, Ark., she was a homemaker and a pastor's wife, pastoring churches in Naylor and Cahokia, Ill. and then in New Madrid,where they pastored the New Madrid United Pentecostal church until retiring. NEW MADRID -- Georgia Mae McKinney, 62, died Jan. 13, 2013, at her home.

Born Sept. 14, 1933, at Reyno, Ark., she was a homemaker and a pastor's wife, pastoring churches in Naylor and Cahokia, Ill. and then in New Madrid,where they pastored the New Madrid United Pentecostal church until retiring. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the New Madrid Church.

On Oct. 21, 1950, at Moark, Ark., she married the Rev. Orvil McKinney, who survives.

Other survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Zip and Sandy McKinney of New Madrid; three grandchildren, Misty, Holly and Justin; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation is after 5 p.m. today at the New Madrid United Pentecostal Church, where services will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. G.L. Keene will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery at New Madrid.

Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel of Neelyville is in charge of arrangements.
