EAST PRAIRIE -- Marjorie Mae Wheatley, 75, died Jan. 13, 2013, at her home.
Born Jan. 16, 1937, at Dover, Tenn., to the late Cecil and Dorothy Stewart Dodge, she had lived most of her life in East Prairie where she was a member of the First Christian Church.
On Oct. 6, 1956, she married Shirley Wheatley, who preceded her in death March 26, 2002.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ray Dodge and Butch Dodge.
Surviving are: two sons, Terry Wheatley of East Prairie and Clyde Wheatley of Sikeston; one brother, Clarence Dodge of Dexter; two sisters, Imogene Ward and Barbara Dodge of East Prairie; and eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday. Martin Lucas of East Prairie will officiate.
Burial will follow in the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Larry Britt, Milas Mainord, Bill Munger, Chris Britt, Ronnie Carter and Jerry Maxwell.
