CHAFFEE -- Arzie E. Cook, 79, died Feb. 14, 2013, at his home. Born Dec. 31, 1933, near Painton, he was the son of the late Luster Elbert and Lillie Catherine Jenkins Cook. CHAFFEE -- Arzie E. Cook, 79, died Feb. 14, 2013, at his home.

Born Dec. 31, 1933, near Painton, he was the son of the late Luster Elbert and Lillie Catherine Jenkins Cook. A veteran of the Vietnam War, he served 20 years in the U.S. Air Force as an aircraft electrician tech sergeant retiring in 1973. He was a member of the Church of God in Chaffee.

On April 30, 1953, he married Lois Sullinger who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Denise Cook of Jackson and Dennis and Barbara Cook of Chaffee; one sister, Lula Hartle of Kentucky; and six grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled from 9 a.m. until time of service at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Church of God in Chaffee with the Rev. Tom Morris officiating.

Burial with full military rites provided by the Missouri Honor Guard will follow in Fairview Cemetery near Arbor.

The Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee is in charge of arrangements.
