NEW MADRID -- Looking out the window of New Madrid Methodist Food Pantry, Patty McIntosh sees the line begin to form.

After working at the food pantry for the past two years, McIntosh sees some familiar faces waiting to receive a bag of food. However, almost each Thursday there are new people waiting in hopes of receiving groceries for their families.

Mrs. McIntosh along with her husband, Steve, oversees the food pantry's operation. However, the couple are quick to point out, the food pantry is an ecumenical mission and only possible with the assistance of several churches, organizations and area merchants.
