EAST PRAIRIE -- Gearldine D. Lindsey, 91, died Feb. 21, 2013, at the East Prairie Nursing Center.
Born July 22, 1921, in New Madrid County, daughter of the late Herman and Ida Clark Lindsey, she was a member of the First Christian Church in East Prairie.
Survivors include: one brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Dale Lindsey of Claremore, Okla.; one sister, Star Carter of East Prairie; and five nephews and 10 nieces.
She was preceded in death by five brothers, Shirley Lindsey, Doyne Lindsey, Raymond Lindsey, Herman Lindsey and Leroy Lindsey, and four sisters, Pauline Henry, Lottie Hale, Edna Horton and Juantia Norris.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday with Delores Grindstaff officiating.
Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery.
