SIKESTON -- A citizens group on Monday continued the discussion of long-range building plans in the Sikeston R-6 School District.

For its second meeting of the 2012-2013 school year, the district's Citizens Advisory Committee gathered the district's oldest building, Lee Hunter Elementary, located at 315 Baker Lane in Sikeston.

Some attendees toured the classrooms, cafeteria, library and additional spaces at Lee Hunter.

"We have a lot of needs ... Several areas throughout entire school campus, K-12, we need to work on," said Sikeston R-6 Superintendent Tom Williams.
