CONRAN -- Ulysses Grant "Pete" Totty, 94, died March 14, 2013, at Regional Medical Center in Memphis, Tenn. Born Aug. 22, 1918, in Conran, son of the late Newton and Dolly Jane Liggett Totty, he was a longtime employee of Standard Oil Co. in Portageville and member of the First Baptist Church, Point Pleasant Masonic Lodge 176, Royal Arch Wilson Chapter No. 75, Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Supreme Council 33, The Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem and The Sword of Bunker Hill...

CONRAN -- Ulysses Grant "Pete" Totty, 94, died March 14, 2013, at Regional Medical Center in Memphis, Tenn.

Born Aug. 22, 1918, in Conran, son of the late Newton and Dolly Jane Liggett Totty, he was a longtime employee of Standard Oil Co. in Portageville and member of the First Baptist Church, Point Pleasant Masonic Lodge 176, Royal Arch Wilson Chapter No. 75, Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Supreme Council 33, The Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem and The Sword of Bunker Hill.

His wife, Jewell Faye White Totty, preceded him in death Nov. 29, 2012.

He was also preceded in death by one brother, Vernie S. Totty.

Survivors include: one son, Steve Totty of Laport, Ind.; two daughters, Terry (Jackie) Watson of Monroe City and Rebecca Ann Totty of Aiken, S.C.; and five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled for 5 p.m. Sunday at the DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville. Masonic rites will be at 7 p.m.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church in Portageville. Dr. Buck Morton will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Mounds Park Cemetery.
