FARMINGTON -- The Sikeston Bulldogs shut out the Farmington Knights Thursday on the road in Farmington 11-0 in five innings.
Cord Sheehy got the win on the mound for Sikeston throwing a complete game while striking out five, walking one and hitting one batter.
Tyler Anderson and Colton Black each led the Bulldogs with two hits apiece. Anderson went 2 for 3 at the dish with a double and one RBI while Black went 2 for 4 with a double and five RBIs.
Colton Hampton added a double while Gavin O'Brien knocked in two RBIs as well.
Sikeston started early scoring three runs in the top of the first inning. They added five more in the fourth and put the game away with three in the fifth.
As a team, Sikeston (4-2) out-hit the Knights 9-3.
The Bulldogs will play again Monday when they host the Dexter Bearcats at 4 p.m. at VFW Memorial Stadium in Sikeston.
