Break Time robbed early this morning

SIKESTON - At 2 a.m. a black male armed with a handgun entered Break Time at 420 N. Main and demanded money.

"He had a shirt over his head," said Capt John Martin of the Sikeston Department of Public Safety. "He came in on foot and left on foot."

The suspect fled the scene with an undetermined amount of cash.

"Investigation pending; no injuries," Martin said.
