SIKESTON -- Those who live and work in the Sikeston-Miner have a better idea of the community's emergency preparedness following a special presentation with the Sikeston Area Chamber of Commerce.

Chief Drew Juden, director of the Sikeston Department of Public Safety, was the featured speaker at the organization's bimonthly luncheon held on Thursday.

"It's unfortunate that we have to, but rest assured that we have a plan and we are prepared in the case of an emergency," said Juden.
