CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Doug Still pitched a complete game and struck out 10 as the Charleston Fighting Squirrels split a doubleheader with the Missouri Bulls 17's Tuesday at Notre Dame High School in Cape Girardeau.
Still allowed five hits during the Squirrels' 4-2 win.
Brad Potts led the Squirrels with two hits. Caleb McCord added a double and two RBIs while Ryan Fortner gave the Squirrels an early lead with a 2-run home run in the first inning.
Gavin O'Brien received the loss for the Bulls after pitching five innings and allowing two earned runs on four hits and two walks. O'Brien also struck out six. Seth Ressel pitched two innings of relief striking out three for the Bulls.
In the second game, the Bulls got the best of Charleston in a lopsided 12-5 loss.
The Squirrels (6-2) totaled seven hits with Fortner and Cody Payne leading at the plate. Fortner went 3 for 4 with a double and an RBI. Payne had two hits and an RBI.
Tim Hillis took the loss on the mound throwing three innings. The Squirrels committed eight errors in the game.
On Thursday the Squirrels will host their 16-team Fighting Squirrels Classic at Hillhouse Park in Charleston.

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- The Sikeston Junior Legion Ladies Auxiliary Unit 114 swept a pair of games from the Cape Girardeau Junior Legion squad Monday.
In the night's first contest relief pitcher Nathan Hampton guided Sikeston to a 5-4 win. Hampton earned the win going four innings where he allowed a run on three hits while striking out two.
Drew Pikey led Sikeston at the plate, going 2 for 3 with a double two RBI. Colton Davis had a double and drove in a pair.
A 9-4 decision over Cape in the night cap made it a clean sweep with Blake Wolferding getting the win. Wolferding threw 6 2/3 innings allowing no runs or walks and only one hit while fanning three.
Trey Smith went 3 for 4 in the contest with a triple, three runs scored and two RBI. Sam Cox had two hits, including a triple, and scored two runs.
Sikeston is now 5-1 on the season and will host Paducah, Ky., tonight at 6 p.m. in their home opener.
