My cycle is louder than yours

I am calling in regards to the senior cyclist ad. I don't know who the person was that called in, but it sounds like to me that they might be a wee bit jealous.

Call ahead

With everyone these days having a cellphone, there is no reason not to call someone before you visit. When I get home from work, I am tired. I have supper to cook, dishes to wash, laundry to do, have to help my child with homework when school is going on, pay the bills, straighten up the house, etc. You people that don't work have all day to do that stuff. Then you want to drop in on me and complain about how busy your day was and then go talk about how messy my house is. I'm not an anti-social person, but I am a considerate one. I would never come to your house without calling first to see if it was an okay time to visit. No, my house isn't spotless like yours. I don't have an extra 40 hours a week to clean it like you do. You can either call before you come over or keep your mouth shut about how I keep house.

Not a big deal to show ID

I was just reading the paper on June 28, the editorial page, all the cartoons about the Supreme Court decision, the voting rights tax. Seems like all the cartoons were submitted by liberals. Why are the liberals so upset about this? You have to show an ID to get on an airplane, to pick up your medicine. You even have to show an ID to rent a movie.
