WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The 2013 NBA schedule was announced Tuesday and it looks like one of the areas best and earliest chances to see former Scott County Central star Otto Porter in action comes in only the sixth game of the season.

That's when the Washington Wizards, who drafted Porter third overall in June, will face off with the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday, Nov. 10 at the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City.

The Wizards next stop in the Midwest won't come until Monday, Jan. 13 when they travel to Chicago to take on the Bulls.

Those who want to see Porter and are looking for the shortest drive will have to wait until Tuesday, Feb. 11 when Porter and company will make their only appearance of the regular season in Memphis against the Grizzlies.

Other match-ups of note include four meetings with the Toronto Raptors, who recently signed Poplar Bluff native Tyler Hansborough. The two local legends will face off on Nov. 22, Jan. 3, Feb. 18 and Feb. 27.

Porter did not play in either of the final two summer games for the Wizards, but finished with four points in his last game against the Denver Nuggets, a 97-69 win, and eight points the game prior against the New York Knicks where the Wizards fell 82-69.
