CHARLESTON -- A shipment of marijuana delivered through the U.S. mail sent a Charleston woman to jail

Pamela Foster, 34, is charged with with distribution of a controlled substance following an investigation by area law enforcement. Charleston Department of Public Safety Director Robert Hearnes reported his department was contacted by the SEMO Drug Task Force concerning a shipment of illegal drugs through the mail. A search warrant was served at 304 Walhausen St., where she allegedly received 19 pounds of marijuana in the mail.
