Scott County woman accused of burglary, theft

CHARLESTON -- A Scott County woman is in jail for invading a Mississippi County home and stealing the owner's prescription drugs.

Jamie Marie Sadler, 34, of Oran is charged with first degree burglary, theft/stealing any controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence. Sadler also faces additional charges pending in Mississippi and Scott Counties.

According to Mississippi County Sheriff Keith Moore, deputies were dispatched on Monday to investigate a residential burglary in Charleston, where victims reported a woman had entered their home without permission, used their restroom and placed several phone calls before her presence was detected.
