Sikeston welcomes Carr Textile

SIKESTON - Sikeston officially welcomed Carr Textile Corp. Wednesday to the community.

Company officials announced plans to purchase and move to the former Brown Shoe Building, 103 S. Acres Drive, during a Wednesday morning press conference at City Hall. Carr Textile is a converter, importer, distributor and wholesaler of cottons, polyesters and blended fabrics, which are used in the manufacture of caps, apparel, aprons, bags, outerwear and emblems as well as for automotive and industrial uses.
