CARUTHERSVILLE - A motorcyclist who attempted to avoid a traffic stop was found in possession of a mobile methamphetamine lab.
At 4:16 p.m. Tuesday, Caruthersville police officers attempted to stop a motorcycle for no visible registration near the intersection of Laurant and West 15th streets. Rather than stopping when officers turned on the emergency lights and siren, the driver of the motorcycle accelerated, according to Caruthersville Police Chief Tony Jones.
