BENTON -- A Sikeston man accused of killing his wife has had his case set for arraignment in Scott County Circuit Court.
Stevie Cordale Lott, 41, is charged with second-degree murder, armed criminal action, unlawful possession of a firearm, endangering the welfare of a child and tampering with physical evidence in a felony prosecution.
Lott, who was originally scheduled for a preliminary hearing Tuesday, was indicted by a grand jury, sending his case straight to circuit court, according to the Prosecutor's office. Lott is scheduled to be arraigned Nov. 27.
Around 3 a.m. Sept. 12, Sikeston Department of Public Safety received a call in reference to a domestic disturbance on John R. Boulevard in Sikeston.
