JACKSON -- The Sikeston Lady Bulldogs' eighth-grade basketball team fell to the Poplar Bluff Lady Mules on Wednesday 39-26 at the Jackson Tournament.
With the loss, the Lady Bulldogs will close out their season tonight playing for third-place in the tournament against the Cape Central Lady Tigers.
History will be on Sikeston's side as they've beaten the Lady Tigers twice so far this season.
The Lady Bulldogs (5-6) will get the chance to close out their season with a .500 record when their game against Cape Central starts tonight at 5:30 p.m.
