SIKESTON -- A relationship-building experience for moms and their tween daughters will take the stage at a Southeast Missouri church next month.

The "Secret Keeper Girl -- Crazy Hair Tour" will begin at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 13 at First Baptist Church, 11 W. Castor St., in Dexter. The live stage show will also feature special guest, Christian contemporary pop rock band 1 Girl Nation of Nashville, Tenn., beginning at 6 p.m.

The Bible-based event -- and Secret Keeper Girl's fourth themed tour -- is also based on best-selling author Dannah Gresh's fiction series for girls ages 8-12.

"Sometimes girls think they have to be a certain way to fit in, and this show teaches you no matter how God created you, you're all important," said Suzanne Collier, marketing and communications director for First Baptist Church in Dexter. "You have meaning and purpose in life. It's for them to understand you're beautiful inside and out, and God created everyone like that."
