A fire broke out Friday afternoon at 967 St. Hwy. 61 in Portageville at a shed that belongs to Roger and Katie Walls. The Portageville Fire Department received the call at 3:00 PM. According to a firefighter Bob

Carter, the shed was fully engulfed when they arrived. The shed was close to a fence belonging to Ken Johnson, their next door neighbor. At this time, no one knows the cause of the fire and is still being looked into. Other than one being treated for smoke inhalation, no one was injured.
