SIKESTON -- Nearly 62 percent Sikeston High School's graduating class of 2013 are furthering their educations at a higher institution of learning.
Tiffany Morgan, A+ coordinator for the district, provided the results for the SHS class of 2013 follow-up survey during Tuesday's regular R-6 Board of Education meeting.
Of the 230 students who graduated from Sikeston High School in May, 86 are attending a four-year college or university; 47 are attending a two-year college; nine are attending a trade school; 54 are currently employed; 31 are currently unemployed; and three are currently serving in the military.
