ORAN -- Making up a pair of games on Thursday the Oran Eagles suffered losses to both Chaffee and Kennett.

The Red Devils hammered out 13 hits against the Eagles to cruise to a 13-1 win in five innings via the mercy-rule.

Chaffee scored two runs in the first inning before a five-run second gave them a comfortable 7-0 lead. Oran's lone run came in the top of the fourth to make it 8-1, but the Red Devils' second five-run rally of the day in the home half of the fourth set the mercy-rule in effect.

In their second game, Oran battled the Indians to a 1-0 loss in six innings.

The games lone run came in the fifth with Seth Ressel taking the hard luck loss. Ressel went all six innings where allowed three hits and struck out seven without surrendering a walk.
