Three Rivers College is launching a new "Alumni and Friends" program that will help alumni and community members keep in touch with events and developments at Three Rivers at no cost, according to college officials.

The Alumni and Friends program is replacing the college's "Alumni Association" program, according to Emily Parks, Director of Development at Three Rivers. The new program is free to join and will provide members with monthly updates on the college, access to exclusive events and opportunities, and a subscription to Three Rivers' "President's Perspective" newsletter.

"We're trying to make it simpler and easier than ever before for alumni and friends of the college to stay in touch with what's going on," said Parks. "With so many new developments happening, Alumni and Friends lets you stay in the loop for free."

Among the projects currently underway at Three Rivers are the construction of the institution's new Eastern Campus in Sikeston; the completion of a Grand Entrance on the Poplar Bluff Campus, and the construction of a new Humanities and Social Sciences classroom building in Poplar Bluff. Parks also said that the Development Office is always seeking support for endowed scholarships and other college-related projects.

Alumni and Friends is open to all Three Rivers alumni or supporters. Sign-up is free, and can be completed online at trcc.edu/development. For more information on Alumni and Friends, or to find out more about how to support Three Rivers College, call Emily Parks at 573-840-9077.
