Bullying the seniors

My topic is bullying. You hear about children being bullied all the time. They have their parents, their teachers and maybe even their principals to help. What happens when you are elderly and handicapped and you have a landlord that bullies you? What are you supposed to do? Man challenges you for fixing this or that, charges you for the pipes and time and it's not fixed. It's still leaking. He tells me if I want it fixed to fix it myself, but won't leave me enough money to fix it. He tells me if I don't get the lawn mowed, he's gonna. . . And then I find somebody to mow the lawn cheaper than he does, and he stands out there where the kid is at and bullying him. What is a person supposed to do? I am physically ill from his threats and all of his extortion. Can someone please help

U.S. is going down

Obama asked for $500 million for Syria to get rid of ISIS. Is he kidding? Maybe he can write them a personal check since we have to borrow to give. This country is already underwater in debt and now he wants to handle immigration on his own. We should maybe send several busloads of immigrants to the White House to be taken care of by Obama and Congress. We have citizens in this country that need help from the government and they can't get any. Can the people not see what he wants to be - a dictator to tell us when and what to do. Remember he told us that he wanted to change the country. I always thought Harvard graduates were intelligent, especially if they supposedly studied constitutional law. Obama does not like the Constitution. The founding fathers were afraid this could happen so the president is supposed to go through Congress.

Really did it this time

Our local cable has messed up. I didn't think anything about changing cable until they made this last change. But this is disgusting. We can't find anything on TV, we don't like it and we're changing.

Citizen not satisfied

Charleston and Mississippi County are going downhill. They think about certain people, mainly the Methodist Church, and don't consider all the people. Certain groups run Charleston.

Par one, pave zero

I'd like to speakout to the people of our Sikeston City Council. Where is our sales tax money going that is supposed to be used to repair our streets? Most streets in Sikeston you can't drive up and down for the potholes. They are deteriorating. Spend some money on our streets instead of buying a golf course and buying a building and tearing it down. We need streets to attract industry, also.
